Carmen Contreras was the spokesperson for Texas Bay Credit Union for four years ,whom also partnered with the Houston Rockets and The Houston Astros. Carmen has participated in throwing out the first pitch with several of the Houston Astros home games.

She has also worked with The Texas Executive Women Mentoring Program, she has a passion when it comes to the High School students Carmen, takes time off to mentor the students by speaking to them about her success, how to dress for job interviews, preparing them once they get out of school with her powerful words. She goes above and beyond for her community with the numerous events she volunteers for every year. Not only do you hear "Latina Girl" on the radio but you can also see her and catch her on TV with FOX 26 Friday nights with TV host Isiah Carey on the Isiah Factor Uncensored.

She has become known throughout Houston, has been married for 13 years to Kelton Smith, and they have 5 dogs named Paul Wall, Ciarra, Fendii, Larry and Sasha.
